The BBPS system allows multiple modes of payment and provides instant confirmation of payment through SMS or receipt. BBPS system captures bills of different categories like electricity, telecom, DTH, gas, water bills etc from a single window. BBPS empowers every citizen to cover their bills under a single window.

The interoperable platform makes it possible for a customer of one bank to cover the bills of the biller received by another lender. The platform also has an option that allows banks to serve customers through non-banking entities as well.
